Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary in Goa

 Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is one of Goa's wildlife sanctuaries, located in the northeastern part of Goa, India. It covers approximately 8 square kilometres of protected forest area and is situated in the Western Ghats.

It has a mini zoo that houses various local species. The sanctuary is home to various species including, sambar deer, Indian bison (gaur), leopards (though rarely seen), various species of snakes, several species of birds, different species of monkeys including langurs.

Best time to visit is October to March, when the weather is most pleasant. The sanctuary is typically open from early morning until evening. Visitors can enjoy, nature walks, bird watching, wildlife, and short treks.
