Blue-and-Yellow Macaws

 Blue-and-Yellow Macaws (Ara Ararauna) are large parrots that are long-tailed and colourful. They are naturally found only in lowland rainforests and savannas from eastern panama to Brazil, often in more open habitats than other macaws. Many macaws are extinct, and some are at the verge of extinction due to aggressive hunting and pet trade. I photographed them in North Bengal wild animals park.
