The coppersmith barbet, Psilopogon haemacephalus, is also called as crimson-breasted barbet, or simply coppersmith, is an Asian barbet with crimson forehead and throat, known for its call that sounds similar to a coppersmith striking metal with a hammer. It is found in Indian Subcontinent and in other parts of Asia.
