Scaly-breasted Munia is highly social and may sometimes roost with other species of munias. These birds are found in tropical plains and grasslands. Breeding pairs construct dome-shaped nests using grass or bamboo leaves.
Before and during the nest making they have long periods of courtship. They spend days together in the company of one another. |
